COVID-19: Situation Update March 12, 2020 The Priority: Public Health

Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville, March 12, 2020, 15 h– Following a press conference and directives issued by Premier François Legault in response to the COVID-19 situation in Québec, the Ville de Saint-Bruno adopted the following measures:

Cancellation of shows and events

The cancellation of all indoor events of more than 250 people in the municipality, until further notice.

As for the Centre Marcel-Dulude, Saint-Bruno has cancelled, for the time being, the Trois accords concert scheduled for March 14. People who bought tickets will be reimbursed in the coming weeks according the payment method used. Other cancellations may follow. A list of cancelled activities will eventually be posted on our Website at stbruno.ca/coronavirus.

Activities, conferences and courses offered by the municipality

Any person who has travelled outside the country or showing symptoms similar to the flu is urged not to attend these courses, conferences and activities.

For anyone who have travelled outside the country

In the case of any resident who has travelled outside the country or is experiencing flu-like symptoms, it is recommended that they self-isolate for a period of 14 days.

Increased Cleaning

To help prevent the spread of the virus, special attention is being giving to the cleaning of municipal buildings, especially doors, door handles, counters and other surfaces.

In addition, Purell-type antiseptic hand wash gel is being provided to employees and residents at all counters in municipal buildings, and public works employees are disinfecting truck interiors and their work areas.

For the Ville de Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville, the health of its employees and residents is the number one priority. The municipality will communicate information and update its web page stbruno.ca/coronavirus as the situation evolves.
